Srinagar, Oct 12 (KNO): Syed Faizan Nazir is a young and self-taught writer hailing from Saidpora Hazratbal in Srinagar. A student of class 10 at Govt Boys Higher Secondary Batapora, Faizan has already made a name for himself as a passionate promoter of the Kashmiri language. His writing journey in his native Kashmiri language began a year ago, indicating his dedication and talent in the field of literature. “My writing primarily revolves around several themes, including privileged forms of poetry, such as Naats, which are poetic compositions in praise of Islamic prophets. This choice of subject matter suggests my deep interest in spirituality and faith,” said Faizan while speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). In addition to his writings on spiritual topics, Faizan also explores themes related to spiritual growth and unity, aiming to foster a sense of connection and harmony among his readers. “This highlights my commitment to not only preserving and promoting the Kashmiri language but also using it as a medium to convey meaningful messages and inspire spiritual reflection,” he said. “Outside of my writing pursuits, I demonstrate my versatility and confidence in various activities.
